Bullwinkle: Ship's Cat & Good Boy
Here's a photo of Bullwinkle with a few of our mooses.
I did write a posting before Christmas but it was lost due to a connection failure, and it has just been too hard to write, but I must because today, February 12, 2007, would have been Mr.B's 16th birthday.
Bullwinkle passed away December 20th 2006. He had a very short illness which was basically just old age. We are happy that he had a long, healthy and adventurous life with us and we miss him bunches. Lots of good times and fond memories...
It was great that we had a last sail with him when we went to the Virgin Islands in November. He was such a good little sailor.
More later...

We'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Groundhog Day.

We keep getting error messages as this site is very busy this morning, so we'll relay the prediction:
It's another beautiful day here in Marigot Bay on the French side of St. Martin. Plus our wifi is operating at a normal speed which, unfortunately is a rare occurence, so perhaps we can do some blogging today.
ALL THE BEST!

Phil Says Spring is Right Around the Corner! So, there you have it!
Phil's official forecast as read 2/2/07 at 7:28 a.m. at Gobbler's Knob:
El Nino has caused high winds, heavy snow, ice and freezing temperatures in the west.
Here in the East with much mild winter weather we have been blessed.
Global warming has caused a great debate.
This mild winter makes it seem just great.
On this Groundhog Day we think of one thing.
Will we have winter or will we have spring?
On Gobbler's Knob I see no shadow today.
I predict that early spring is on the way.
