USVI Governor's Covid Update July 15, 2021

The BRITISH Virgin Islands have had a huge surge of covid cases in the past week. USVI Governor Bryan addresses this issue.

NEW: Effective July 19, 2021, passengers traveling from the British Virgin Islands to the U.S. Virgin Islands must provide either a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of travel, or a positive antibody test result taken within 4 months (marine) or 3 months (air) of travel.

Wednesday I took the bus to go shopping. I also took the bus to go shopping last week which was the first time since March 2020. On the way back there were 6 other passengers, 4 of which had their masks under their nose (1 of which was under chin). Sheesh!

If everyone had done their part and not been selfish, we might have been back to "normal" by now. 

 

Get vaccinated as soon as possible. If not for you, for the community as a whole.

We've had both doses of Moderna vaccine for covid-19... Hurray!

 

The US Virgin Islands has opened up vaccination to the public for those over 16-years old.
