A Caturday Photo

Here's a picture I like of "The Slayer"

Happy Caturday!

Something smells fishy...

Willow was very proud of the fish that she and her sister found. She brought it into the boat to share.

What a nice, thoughtful kitty!

So it goes...

Five Years

It has been five years since we met these little kittens and invited them home.

They accepted and we're a happy family...

So it goes...

Give a cat a fish

Saw this on Moldy Chum and had to share it...

Don't know where they got it from, but thanks to the originator!

So it goes...

Caturday: Working on our boat... I hear raindrops!

Just about ready to get to work on the boat after another cup of coffee.

A friend of ours recommended the song "Working On My Boat." I quite enjoy it. You can listen to a sample HERE.

We have had 3 days in a row without rain and have been able to do some exterior epoxy work. We plan to do a bit more this morning.

What's that I hear? The pitter patter of cat paws on the deck? No, it is raining! Oh well, it is only 9am so maybe the weather will improve.

It's Caturday! Here's a picture of Willow being too cool for the room :)

They are having great fun this morning chasing each other to and fro... much frolicking...

Let the sunshine in!

Caturday... So it goes...

Is it Saturday already? I didn't realize I missed "Rapture Day" yesterday. Must have been a non-event.

Caturday & Simon's Cat

I love Simon's Cat. He "gets" cats. The cat sounds and actions are purrfect!

Simon's Cat in "The Box"

Every cat loves a good box.  Our Amazon boxes never go to waste. They become recycled cat toys and cat beds. Paper bags are very much appreciated, too.

There are two Simon's Cat books available on Amazon.com

Simon's Cat in His Very Own Book

Simon's Cat, Beyond the Fence

CATURDAY: Cat playing with dolphin video, etc

I hope that Buffy & Willow don't see this YouTube video when they surf the net after we go to bed... They'll want one, too!

.

The video (not ours) was taken in 1997 at Theater of the Sea, a marine animal park in Islamorada, Florida.

Our cats love to chatter at the seabirds that fly by the boat and sometimes a leaping ray will catch their attention. Willow can become very enthralled by things in the water that humans cannot see.

They like playing with their tube. It makes a crackling sound.

Boxes and paper bags are a great source of entertainment that also become favorite places to sleep.

Enjoy your Caturday. It is a beautiful day in St. Croix. We plan to walk up to Pueblo and hit the Animal Shelter's thrift store on the way and check out their book selection.

Here are some good tunes with "cat" in the title...

• Stray Cat Strut
• Year of the Cat
• Cat Scratch Fever
• Cool for Cats
• Alley Cat
