Cats & Easter Weekend

Last weekend the cats got out their Easter blind and donned their bunny ears. Hoping to get some treats...

In the end, they had to settle for a bit of cheese :)

Looking forward to Thursday

It's T-Day this week.

I don't think the turkey stands a chance :)

Today is National Cat Day...

What ?

Yes, today, October 29th, is National Cat Day.

Didn't we just have that?

No, that was World Cat Day on August 8th.

Can't get too much of a good thing :)

Here's an interesting page I found on the internet today:

5 ways to celebrate National Cat Day on CNN Scroll through their slideshow for an interesting group of photos

I think we'll have tuna sandwiches for lunch.

I wonder about the inhabitants of Tashirojima, otherwise known as Cat Island. Will they get special treats today?

June 4th - Hug Your Cat Day

What's in your Easter basket?

The cats have gotten their specially-modified duck blind out of storage, are in position, and patiently waiting.

More on herding cats

Most everyone has seen the EDS commercial shown during the Superbowl many years ago about herding cats. It is such a classic and always makes me smile. If you haven't seen it lately, take a moment and click on the video below.

Today, I came across an interesting video on YouTube which explores the concept of herding cats, Mythbusters (season 13, episode 6) broadcast on the Discovery Channel.

Hmmm... maybe they should have tried treats. Would be a bit impractical if you're herding a group (collectively called chowder, clutter, or glaring of cats) across the plains on horseback though :)

Enjoy !

Easter Weekend

The cats have stationed themselves behind their specially-modified duck blind and donned their Steve Martin bunny ears to fool the little chicks; luring them into their trap...

Taste just like Peeps :)

Happy Mardi Gras

What a wonderful day for Mardi Gras

A Caturday Photo

Simon's Cat, Christmas 2013

Ho Ho Ho, So It Goes...

Something smells fishy...

Willow was very proud of the fish that she and her sister found. She brought it into the boat to share.

What a nice, thoughtful kitty!

Buffy's Prize

This morning Buffy went on patrol and found an intruder. She proudly brought in the infiltrator and put it on display on our fridge.

Good girl, Buffy!

We took it outside...

Buffy was "bored now" but Willow found the squid interesting.
