Towel Day: Yes, I know where mine is

Today is Towel Day. Towel Day is an annual celebration on the 25th of May, as a tribute to the late author Douglas Adams (1952-2001). Do you know where your towel is?

Of course, if you are a hoopy frood, you do know...

"A towel, it says, is about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have"
- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
We love The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. We listened to the original BBC Radio 4 series when we lived in Paris.  We have the 5-book trilogy as well :)

We've never seen the TV show and don't really have any desire to after seeing the movie. Radio is such a wonderful medium.... YELLOW

So thank you for the joy, Douglas Adams, wherever you may be.

What? You don't have the trilogy? Get all FIVE books here...
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
  • The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
  • Life, the Universe and Everything
  • So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish
  • Mostly Harmless
We haven't read And Another Thing... which was commissioned after the death of Douglas Adams.

I didn't know we could get the original radio show. We are definitely going to order this:
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Primary Phase
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Secondary Phase
  • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Tertiary Phase
Enjoy !
