St Maarten Summer Bridge Opening Times

It May 1st which means the Dutch bridge on St Maarten (SXM) is changing over to their summer bridge hours.

Summer hours (May 1 - Nov. 30):

• 9:30 am
• 11:30 am
• 5:30 pm

Outbound traffic leaving the lagoon pass through first, then boats can enter the lagoon. Watch the lights on the bridge and at the entrance to the channel.

The Dutch-side bridge monitors VHF Channel 12

There is no change in hours for the French bridge. Same thing as Dutch side in that boats leaving the lagoon (outbound traffic) pass through first, then the inbound traffic can pass. Watch the lights on the bridge.

• Monday through Saturday: Opens at 08:15 - 14:30 - 17:30
• Sunday & Holiday openings: 08:15 & 17:30 (NO AFTERNOON OPENING)

There are a few French holidays for May though, which means no 2:30pm openings on:
May 1, May 8, May 21, June 1... and whenever else :)
