Wow, this could cause a BIG disappointment... Man overboard catches the rope and is happy until the rope parts... bummer!Safety equipment manufacturer, Crewsaver, has identified a potential safety issue with a small number of its Yak Throw Lines sold between May 2009 and September 2009.
It seems that some of the lines are not one piece of rope but have a join in them which can fail.
